RAS initiated the Recall Recovery Program with the GM Ignition Switch Recalls in 2014. The GM Recall established RAS as a trusted partner in removing dangerous products from the marketplace. The Global Takata Airbag Recall necessitated a quick launch for Honda and other Automakers to provide an End of Life solution across the US and Canada.

 

Volume

RAS is currently processing over 20K defective Takata airbags per month which results in the final destruction of these dangerous products and subsequent reporting to Automakers and NHTSA.

 

The supply chain implemented by RAS meets the demands of OE’s, Recyclers, and Suppliers alike. Timely delivery of Hazmat kits, efficiency of product pick-ups and check-in, and quick turnaround of Bounty payments make for a fluid and transparent flow of defective Takata airbags.
